How to conduct a successful skills assessment in European projects - CreActive!'s Last Mobility
A journey that started in 2018 during a TCA in Tenerife had come to an end with the last mobility of our CreActive! project organised by our partner school in Sicily: Liceo Pascasino Marsala from the 13th to the 18th of June 2022.
El viaje que comenzó en una TCA en Tenerife en 2018 llega a su fin con una última movilidad del proyecto CreActive! organizada por nuestro centro asociado en Sicilia: el Liceo Pacasino de Marsala, del 13 al 18 de junio de 2022.

The Spanish delegation was formed by our international coordinator Sandra Reyes, Miriam Jerónimo head of the Latin Department and Ofelia Aguilar from the English department. They joined delegations of Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Iceland and Italy lead by the international coordinator of each country. Our program was brilliantly organised with meetings every morning and cultural activities in the afternoons.
La delegación española estaba formada por Sandra Reyes, coordinadora de internacionalización, Miriam Jerónimo, jefa del departamento de Latín y Ofelia Aguilar del departamento de Inglés. Se unieron a otras delegaciones de Croacia, Alemania, Hungría, Islandia e Italia. Nuestro programa fue brillantemente organizado, con reuniones y charlas por la mañana y actividades culturales por la tarde.

During our meetings, we went over different topics like the review of our project's objectives and our final report, the mobility tool, eTwinning, and future collaborations. The seed for new projects and short term mobilities using our accreditations was planted and we are happy to continue our cooperation in the following years.
Durante las sesiones, abordamos diferentes temas como la revisión de los objetivos de nuestro proyecto y nuestro informe final, la mobility tool, eTwinning, así como colaboraciones futuras. Se plantó la semilla para nuevos proyectos conjuntos, movilidades de corta y larga duración a través de nuestro proyecto de Acreditación Erasmus porque estamos muy felices de poder continuar nuestra colaboración en años venideros.

We participated in different cultural activities related to the objectives of our project. We visited the organic and sustainable Winery Gorghi Tondi emplaced in the middle of a WWF reservation, the Selinunte Archeological Site that comprises the Greek remains of the Acropolis and Temples and the island of Favigniana among others.
Además, participamos en algunas actividades culturales relacionadas con los objetivos de nuestro proyecto. Visitamos la bodega Gorghi Tondi, emplazada en medio de una reserva WWF y cuya materia prima es de origen orgánico y su producción, sostenible. También visitamos el Parque arqueológico de Selinunte, con su Acrópolis y sus templos de origen griego, y la isla de Favigniana, entre otros.

On the last day, while our coordinators carried out their final meeting, our teachers participated in a job shadowing dealing with emotional intelligence and a tour around the school with Rosella Nocera, teacher of human science.

Última movilidad de alumnado del proyecto CreActive!
Del 16 al 20 de mayo de 2022 tiene lugar la última movilidad con alumnado del proyecto CreActive! en Gymnasium Nordhorn en Alemania. Nuestro proyecto Erasmus+ congrega alumnado y profesorado de Croacia, Hungría, Italia, Islandia, Alemania y España para trabajar juntos el ODS 15: Vida terrestre.
The Spanish delegation was formed by five
students and three teachers: Diana Toledo (who unfortunately couldn't travel),
Jiawei Huang, Lucía Madan, Eileen Popova, María Lorenzo, Naira Marino (Biology),
Darío Rodríguez (Physical Education) and Sandra Reyes (Spanish Language and Erasmus+ coordinator).
La delegación española está formado por cinco estudiantes, dos profesoras y un profesor: Diana Toledo (que desafortunadamente no pudo viajar), Jiawei Huang, Lucía Madan, Eileen Popova, María Lorenzo, Naira Marino (Biología), Darío Rodríguez (Educación Física) y Sandra Reyes (Lengua española y coordinadora Erasmus+).
On Monday 16th of May, we were
received by Kirsten Rigterink, Erasmus+ coordinator, and Andreas Langlet, headmaster of Gymnasium Nordhorn,
who welcomed us and wished us the best for this week full of new experiences and
knowledge.
El lunes 16 de mayo, fuimos recibidos por Kirsten Rigterink, coordinadora Erasmus+, y Andrea Langlet, director de Gymnasium Nordhorn, quienes nos dieron la bienvenida y nos desearon lo mejor para esta semana colmada de nuevas experiencias y conocimiento.
Continuamos con una foto de familia y algunas actividades divertidas y entretenidas para romper el hielo y conocernos mejor.
Tras la pausa, el alumnado de las diferentes delegaciones presentó sus innovadoras ideas para trabajar el ODS 15: Vida terrestre.
Our students have done a wonderful job by presenting
an original children’s' tale, written and illustrated by themselves. The tale
tells the story of some endemic species worried by the impact that foreign
species have on their lives and how the human hand is at the same time culprit and
saviour of mother nature.
Nuestro alumnado ha realizado un fantástico trabajo al presentar un original cuento para niños, escrito e ilustrado por ellos mismos. El relato cuenta la historia de algunas especies endémicas de las islas, preocupadas por el impacto que algunas especies foráneas tienen en sus vidas y en cómo la mano del hombre es a la vez culpable y salvadora de la madre naturaleza.
Por la tarde, alumnado y profesorado de Gymnasium Nordhorn nos enseñaron esta preciosa ciudad, donde la naturaleza está presente en la frondosidad de los innumerables árboles y en las aguas de los varios canales que la atraviesan.
Por la noche lo pasamos bien jugando a "Kegeln", una especie de juego de bolos que nuestros amigos alemanes suelen jugar aquí.
On Tuesday 17th of May, one group of
students and teachers guided by Ulrich Meyer- Spethmann, a retired biologist, visited the Gildehauser Venn, a swamp in the
neighbourhood, a very well protected area because of its environmental value as
some species of plants and birds can only live there.
El martes 17 de mayo, un grupo de estudiantes y profesores, guiados por Ulrich Meyer- Spethmann, un biólogo retirado, visitaron la Gildehauser Venn, una ciénaga en las cercanías, un área protegida por su valor medioambiental ya que algunas especies de plantas y animales tienen allí su hábitat natural.
At school, two groups began their
work to obtain a creative product by the end of the week. One of them attended
a workshop with Thea Lambers, Art teacher at Gymnasium Nordhorn, who introduced them
to the innovative technique of etching. The workshop was entitled ‘moving
mountains' as one of Thea's mottos during this week was ‘Art can move
mountains'. It consists of transforming our landscape (and those of our
partners) to show our desires and feelings to improve mother nature.
En el instituto, otros dos grupos de estudiantes comenzaron su trabajo creativo. Uno de ellos asistió a un taller impartido por Thea Lambers, profesora del departamento de Artes Plástica en el instituto Nordhorn, quien les presentó una técnica innovadora de grabado denominada "Etching". El taller, denominado "Moviendo montañas", responde a uno de los lemas de esta semana, tan repetidos por Thea: "El Arte puede mover montañas". El objetivo era transformar nuestro entorno (y el de nuestros socios) para modificar la madre naturaleza, según nuestros deseos y sentimientos.
On the other hand, another group has worked with Professor Mathias Dormbusch in a photography workshop. Students were instructed on the basic knowledge of cameras function and later they took turns around the town to practise their recently acquired skills.
Por otro parte, otro grupo de estudiantes asistió a un taller de fotografía impartido por el profesor Mathias Dormbusch. El alumnado aprendió sobre el manejo y las funciones básicas de una cámara fotográfica y más tarde pusieron en práctica la teoría en un recorrido por el pueblo.
After lunch, a bike tour to the Netherlands was offered to us. Almost 20 kms of fun and nature made the participants' day.
Tras el almuerzo nos ofrecieron un paseo en bicicleta hasta los Países Bajos. Casi 20 kilómetros de diversión y naturaleza para los participantes.
A última hora de la tarde, tomamos un barco para hacer un tour por los canales, los cuales son la razón por la que a Nordhorn se la conozca como la Ciudad del Agua.
And new groups started workshops of etching and photography.

After lunch, teachers Peter Beckmannshagen and Mathias Dormbusch accompanied us on a visit to the Natural History Museum in Münster where we could see a fantastic exhibition of all mother nature species, like dinosaurs and mammoths.
Tras el almuerzo, los profesores Peter Beckmannshagen y Mathias Dormbusch nos acompañaron en una visita al Museo de Historia natural de Münster, donde pudimos ver una fantástica exhibición de todas las especies de la madre naturaleza, como dinosaurios y mamuts.
Afterwards we made a guided tour
around Münster city centre, where we could learn a little about its history
over the years. A city founded in the Middle Ages that has been bombed during
II World War and reconstructed after that.
Más tarde, realizamos una visita guiada por el centro de Münster en la que pudimos aprender un poquito sobre su historia a lo largo de los años. La ciudad fue fundada en la Edad Media, bombardeada durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y reconstruida tiempo después.
On Thursday 19th of May, students worked on the final touches of their etching products and photography exhibition.
El jueves 19 de mayo, el alumnado dio los toques finales a sus productos creativos en el taller de etching y de fotografía.
Later on, they built bees
houses with recycled tin cans and other materials in a special workshop led by the biologist Jana Böhme to celebrate the International Bees Day (20th of May)
A media mañana, construyeron "casas" para abejas con latas y otros materiales reciclados en un taller especial impartido por la bióloga Jana Böhme para celebrar del Día Internacional de las Abejas (20 de mayo).
On Friday 20th of May we started with an exhibition of etching and photography final products which shows the wonderful jobs students have done this week.
El viernes 20 de mayo, comenzamos con una presentación de los trabajos creativos elaborados con la técnica etching y las fotografías. Un resultado final maravilloso elaborado durante esta semana.
Finally, all delegations received their certificates, the last ones for Students' Mobility in this wonderful project We are looking forward to working with you all again!
Finalmente, todas las delegaciones recibieron sus certificados de participación, los últimos para la movilidad de alumnado de este magnífico proyecto. ¡Esperamos con mucha expectación poder trabajar con todos de nuevo!

Reduced Inequalities - Hungary
Del 9 al 13 de mayo, estudiantes y profesorado de Alemania, Croacia, Italia, Islandia y España se reunieron con sus homólogos en Hungría para la 5ª Movilidad de Corta Duración del Proyecto Erasmus+ CreActive!.
From the 9th to the 13th of May, students and teachers from Croatia, Germany, Iceland, Italy and Spain joined their peers in Hungary for the 5th Short Term Students Event of the CreActive! Erasmus+ Project.
Nuestra delegación está formada por tres profesores: Yurena Reverón Cabrera del departamento de Dibujo, José Hernández Lobete del departamento de Económicas, Ofelia Aguilar del departamento de Inglés, y por cuatro estudiantes: Andrés Rivas Mesa, Elizabeth Monterrey, Elsa Suárez y Yara Nabhan Khlaili.
Our delegation was formed by three teachers: Yurena Reverón Cabrera from the Arts Department, José Hernández Lobete from the Economic Department, Ofelia Aguilar from the English Department and four students Andrés Rivas Mesa, Elizabeth Monterrey, Elsa Suárez and Yara Nabhan Khlaili.
En nuestro primer día, fuimos recibidos por el instituto Szeberényi Gusztáv Adolf Evangélikus Gimnázium (BEG) al completo durante la devoción que realizan los lunes. Tras unas palabras de Péter Köveskúti, director del centro, el alumnado y profesorado las delegaciones participantes fueron divididos en dos grupos.
El alumnado realizó actividades para conocerse mejor. Mientras el profesorado visitó la exposición realizada en el edificio central de BEG para celebrar el día de Europa. Allí, nos dieron la bienvenida oficial Zoltán Opauskzki, director del centro cultural de Csabagyöngye, Péter Köveskúti, director del centro y Csilla Németh, coordinadora de los proyectos Erasmus+ del centro. Tras la bienvenida el profesorado visitó las instalaciones de la escuela infantil y primaria.
On our first day, we were welcomed by the whole school Szeberényi Gusztáv Adolf Evangélikus Gimnázium at their devotion and after some words from Péter Köveskúti, the school headmaster, students and teachers from the different delegations were divided in two groups.
Students participated in ice-breaking activities while teachers visited the exposition in BEG’s main building dedicated to Europe’s Day. There we were welcomed by Zoltán Opauskzki, deputy director of the Csabagyöngye cultural center, Péter Köveskúti, the headmaster and Csilla Németh, the school’s Erasmus+ project coordinator. After that, teachers visited the kindergarten and primary school facilities.
Nos reunimos nuevamente en el centro cultural para realizar las presentaciones de los productos creativos que cada delegación había preparado sobre el ODS 10: Reducción de las desigualdades. Nos sentimos muy orgullosos del trabajo realizado por nuestro alumnado que contagió con su buen humor a todos los asistentes. uedes ver la presentación aquí. We were reunited at the cultural center for the presentation of the creative products that each delegation had prepared about SDG10: Reduced Inequalities. Tras las exposiciones, el alumnado comenzó a trabajar en sus grupos internacionales para preparar sus productos creativos. En esta ocasión, el contexto fue la participación en el Open-Eye festival en el que diferentes asociaciones participan para dar visibilidad al ODS 10. El alumnado podía elegir uno de los diferentes escenarios para enfocar sus ideas en la creación del producto. Los escenarios eran: oratoria y graffiti, teatro, baile, cine mudo, música o montaje de vídeo. Mientras el profesorado realizó actividades para romper el hielo.
After that students started to work in international groups to create their creative products. This time students were given a context in which they were participating in the Open Eye Festival to spread the word about SDG10. Students could choose among different stages or tents to guide their efforts: Stump oratory tent, Drama stage, Dance stage, Movie tent, Main Stage (music) and Movie Montage tent. Meanwhile teachers participated in some ice breaking activities.
Terminamos nuestro día en una Gincana alrededor de Békéscsaba y la visita a los baños termales de Árpád.
We finished our day doing a Gymkhana around the city and visiting the Árpád Bath.

Tras la reunión, la vicedirectora Emöke Vadaszne Ablanczy nos explicó cómo se organizaban los estudios de arte en BEG. La escuela de arte ofrece diferentes estudios técnicos como pintura, fotografía, diseño gráfico y moda. Los diversos departamentos y su alumnado trabajan juntos para realizar proyectos de manera que si, por ejemplo, un alumno o alumna de diseño gráfico necesita fotografiar o pintar algunos elementos puede acudir al alumnado o profesorado de estas áreas. Terminamos la visita con un taller de pintura.
After the meeting, vice principal Emöke Vadaszne Ablanczy explained to us how the art studies are organized in BEG. The art school offers different studies like painting, photography, graphic design and fashion design. The different departments and their students work together to create products; so, for example if a graphic design student needs to photograph something or paint some elements they can ask students and teachers from these departments for help and the other way around. We ended our visit with a painting workshop.
Por la tarde asistimos a un taller de cocina artesanal en el Club del Chorizo de Békéscsaba. Divididos en grupos de tres por estaciones que rotaban, dos grupos aprendían a preparar el chorizo artesanal de la ciudad y unas pastas tradicionales húngaras, mientras el tercero participaba en un juego basado en Triviator. No es necesario decir que disfrutamos muchísimo de la experiencia. Muchas gracias a la delegación húngara por organizar estas actividades.
In the afternoon, we participated in a traditional cooking workshop at the Sausage Club of Békescsaba. We were divided into three groups that switched between three stations. Two groups started learning how to make the traditional Békéscsaba sausage and some typical Hungarian pastries while the other played a game based on Triviator. Needless to say, we had an amazing time! We would like to thank the Hungarian delegation for such a wonderful day.
En nuestro tercer día, visitamos la capital de Hungría, Budapest. Declarada patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO en 1987, Budapest aúna en sus calles modernidad e historia, teniendo por ese motivo un ambiente único. Pudimos disfrutar visitas guiadas en la Basílica de San Esteban y en el Parlamento; así como un crucero en el Danubio.
On our third day, we visited the capital of Hungary: Budapest. The city, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987, is the perfect harmony between the traditional and modern architecture. We had guided visit in Saint Stephen's Basilica and the Parliament; as well as a sightseeing cruise along the Danube.
En nuestro cuarto día, el alumnado continuó trabajando en sus productos mientras las profesoras de Diseño Gráfico de Islandia realizaron un job shadowing en el departamento de su especialidad
On our fourth day, students continued to work on their products, while Graphic Design teachers from Iceland did a job shadowing activity in the Graphic Design Department at BEG.
El resto del profesorado visitó Mini Magyarország Szarvas Arboretum o Mini Hungary. Un parque donde pudimos ver recreaciones en miniatura de edificaciones famosas del Imperio Austro-Húngaro.
Meanwhile, the rest of the teachers visited Mini Magyarország Szarvas Arboretum or Mini Hungary. There we could see miniature recreations of famous buildings from the late Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Por la tarde, viajamos a Gyula. Allí visitamos la exhibición interactiva del castillo Almasy y aprendimos sobre la vida de los mayordomos, amas de llaves, sirvientes y su relación con la aristocracia. Después, visitamos el centro de la ciudad y el Castillo de Gyula, una fortaleza medieval que asombra por su estado de conservación.
In the afternoon, we travelled to Gyula. We visited the Gyula Amasy Castle interactive exhibition and learned about the life of butlers, maids, servants and their relation to the aristocracy. Then we visited the Gyula Castle, a medieval fortress that has been impressively preserved and the city centre.
Regresamos a Békéscsaba navegando en canoa sobre el canal, una experiencia estupenda para todos.
We returned to Békéscsaba canoeing over the canal, a beautiful experience for all of us!
El viernes, nuestro último día, celebramos la ceremonia de clausura de nuestra movilidad sobre el ODS 10 Reducción de las Desigualdades. Empezamos con unas palabras de Csilla Németh y con la actuación de Seraphina Bienchen, alumna alemana, que compuso una canción sobre este objetivo.
On Friday, we celebrated the closing ceremony for our mobility about SDG10 Reduce Inequalities. It started with a few words by Csilla Németh and with the performance of Seraphina Bienchen, a German student, who had composed a song about this topic.
ras la actuación, el alumnado presentó los productos que había realizado en los grupos internacionales. Desde la poesía y la pintura al teatro y el cine, el alumnado puso su creatividad al límite para crear conciencia sobre el ODS 10.
Then the students presented the products they had created in the international groups. From poetry and painting to drama and short films, students put their creativity to the test to raise awareness about our goal.

Terminamos la ceremonia con la entrega de certificados a las diferentes delegaciones. Tuvimos un momento especial, cuando todos cantaron feliz cumpleaños a nuestra compañera Yurena en siete idiomas diferentes.
Finally the ceremony closed and delegations were given their certificates. We had a special moment , when everyone sang happy birthday to our teacher Yurena in seven different languages.
Queremos agradecer nuevamente a la delegación húngara, nuestros anfitriones, por una experiencia maravillosa. We 💖 Hungary!
