Expertas en Igualdad de Género nos visitan desde Borgarholtsskóli en Islandia
On our return from Christmas, we had
the pleasure of welcoming three teachers from our partner school in Iceland,
Borgarholtsskóli. Unnur Gisladóttur, Hanna Gísladóttir and Hrönn Harðardóttir
spent a week with us to observe the work we do, in our school, in the field of
Equality and Diversity. On Monday 10th January we received them and after a few
words from the Headmaster they visited our facilities and exchanged experiences
with our colleagues Álvaro Molina (Environmental Sustainability Education Hub
Coordinator) and Simón Zamora (Heritage Project).
On Wednesday 12th
January, we were with Rosa María Gómez del Pino, our school's guidance
counsellor, who prepared a presentation on the work of the Guidance Department,
and we visited the students of the Learning Improvement Programmes, the SEN,
Basic and Adapted Vocational Training classrooms. We ended our day with a visit
to the “Aula Enclave - Special Needs Classroom” where our colleagues Gloria and
Dácil shared with us their daily life in the classroom and presented the
different activities they carry out. We would like to thank the collaboration
of the teachers and students of the Adapted Vocational Training in Gardening
and Administration, Basic Vocational Training, SEN class, PMAR and “Aula
Enclave” for their collaboration and participation in these days from the
ERASMUS+ coordination team as well as the visiting teachers.
El jueves 13, asistimos al Taller Afectivo-Sexual que se celebra todos los jueves con el alumnado de la Formación Profesional Adaptada y Aula Enclave donde pudimos comparar cómo se asemejan este tipo de actividades a la labor que realizan las compañeras Unnur y Hanna desde la asignatura de Igualdad de género que imparten en su centro.
On Thursday 13th, we attended the Emotional/ Sexual Relation Workshop that is held every Thursday with the students of the Adapted Vocational Training and “Aula Enclave” where we were able to compare how this type of activity, is similar to the work carried out by our colleagues Unnur and Hanna in the subject of Gender Equality taught at their school.
Finalizamos las jornadas con una visita al IES El Médano, donde Nuria Felipe, de la Jefatura de Estudios adjunta, nos acogió amablemente, nos mostró su centro y nos permitió conocer los diferentes programas de Formación profesional que se imparten, así como las diversas actividades que se realizan en materia de Igualdad. También visitamos la Formación Profesional Adaptada en Servicios Auxiliares de Peluquería, el Grado Superior de Técnico en Integración Social y el Grado Superior en Técnico en Promoción de la Igualdad de Género. We finished up by paying a visit to
the IES El Médano, where Nuria Felipe, from the Head of Studies department,
kindly welcomed us, showed us around the school and allowed us to get to know
the different vocational training programmes that are on offer, as well as the
various activities that are carried out in the field of Equality. We also
visited the Adapted Vocational Training for Hairdressing Assistance, the HND in
Social Integration and Technician in Promotion of Gender Equality. We invite
